Access to this cabin is via a gravel road. We highly recommend using a vehicle with 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, as traction may vary depending on factors like weather and traffic.
Additionally, there are two shallow creek crossings on the way to the cabin.

It’s a great cabin next to an amazing National Treasire. 4x4 suggested but not required. My brothers Toyota Corolla made it up there.

We really enjoyed this place. The location was nice and secluded (with a gorge and waterfall behind it!) but close enough for everything we wanted to do in RRG - Southeast Mountain Guides, Underground Gorge, Skylift, and lots of hikes. The cabin was clean and comfortable enough, and stocked with all the basics we needed to make dinners in. Our four teenagers were endlessly entertained with the pool table, hot tub and arcade games, and enjoyed lounging in the two TV areas. Plus the drive in and out was fun, with water crossings and steep hills.

The cabin is great! Very clean upon arrival. The drive up was pretty treacherous. Glad we had 4 wheel drive to make it through the creek and up the steep hills. Would be nice to have an instruction book for the air/heat units, but other than that, everything was great! Thank you for a sweet, quick trip for our family.

Directions to the cabin were not good for arrival after dark. We had to ask for enough sheets and towels for all guests. Beds have crinkly protectors on them that made a good night sleep difficult. Despite this, the cabin is beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed and there was tons to do in the cabin. Definitely MUST have 4 wheel drive to get there! Take your own water as the well water is highly sulfuric.
