Our vacation home is located on a lot of approximately 220 m² in a small vacation park (60 homes) in North Holland.
Upon entering the house, you’ll find the kitchen to your right or the living room straight ahead. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are arranged around the centrally located bathroom. A sliding door in the living room leads out to the southeast-facing terrace.
There are three bedrooms available.
Bedroom 1 is furnished with a 140x200 cm double bed.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a bunk bed.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove (electric oven and gas burners), a refrigerator-freezer, a sink, and a dishwasher. A microwave, a coffee maker, and a pod coffee machine are available. There is also a kettle and a toaster.

In the living room, you can make yourself comfortable on a cozy couch. A TV with satellite channels is provided. The house has Wi-Fi—use of which is included in the rent.

The bathroom was renovated in 2014. In addition to a toilet and sink, there is a walk-in shower.

Next to the entrance is the “Berging” (a small annex). Here you’ll find a washer, dryer, and a clothes rack.

For the outdoor area, there is a charcoal grill in addition to the patio furniture.

Please bring your own towels, kitchen towels, and a 3-piece set of bed linens. Upon request, sets consisting of bed linens and towels can be booked for an additional 20 euros per person.

Our house is a smoke-free home!
Inside the house, you’ll find a red folder containing our house rules. We ask that you read and follow them to avoid unnecessary costs!
Pets are allowed. Each house comes with a reserved parking space.

During North Rhine-Westphalia school breaks (except winter break), bookings are only possible from Saturday to Saturday.


Surroundings and Leisure Activities

Our vacation home is located in a small bungalow park (Park Groenhart), part of the municipality of Schagen in North Holland. A small playground with a swing, seesaw, and a small slide is available for general use. In addition, there is a large play area in the center of the park with a volleyball net and a ping-pong table. At the back of the park is a canal and a small lake where you can go boating. Since summer 2021, the “bolle zus” café has reopened, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner or a drink at the bar.

There are many wonderful ways to spend the day around Dirkshorn, such as shopping in Alkmaar or Schagen. In Alkmaar, the famous cheese market takes place every Friday from April through September. During the summer months, a market is held every Thursday in Schagen, where local traditions are celebrated with a large traditional costume parade. For daily shopping needs, various supermarkets such as Vomar, Aldi, Albert Heijn, and Jumbo are available in the neighboring town of Schagen.

The beach is easily accessible by car or bicycle. (Approx. 10–15 minutes) The beach in Petten was redesigned in 2016 and is one of the widest beaches in North Holland.
The beaches in Sint Maartenszee and Callantsoog are also very beautiful. For children, there’s also the pirate ship in “Camperduin.” It’s located a bit off the beach by a lagoon.

Also great for children are the “De Goudvis” recreation area in Sint Maartenszee, with its large indoor and outdoor spaces, and the “De Holle Bolle Boom” playground in Tuitjenhorn.

In North Holland, colorful fields of daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths bloom in the spring. This sight is not to be missed.
