The host is very friendly and courteous. The cabin is a well-designed tiny home, right across the street from the bay. Even on Memorial Day weekend, there were not a ton of cars going by and no road noise (the speed limit is 20). There are some walkable bars, breweries, parks, and restaurants close by. It is also not far from the border town Blaine and about a 25-minute drive to Bellingham.
This is not a con or criticism of the home, but a word of caution for some people or groups larger than two adults: the tiny home might not be a good option, especially for longer stays or those with mobility challenges. I had no problems myself, but it might be a deal breaker for others.
