South Beach View

Great location, 1 Min walk to beach and cafes / shops. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The fact that you need to pay a deposit for the booking should be upfront on the advert. I only became aware of this due to prior reviews. Also as prior reviews have mentioned, the en suite toilet seat needs replaced. There weren't enough utensils, e.g only 3 forks and 3 bowls. There were 5 of us so this was an issue, however we were provided more later the next day. Some basic items like hand wash, brush and shovel would be useful for cleaning as we went. The front storm door was difficult to open and lock therefore we had to just lock the internal door. There should be clearer instructions for the oven, TV and dish washer. As we couldn't get either to work apart from netflix on TV. Information book should be placed where it can be easily found. And parking instructions should be clearer as we didn't realise cars from upstairs apartment would be parking in the same driveway.

It was a beautiful apartment in a great location but…………. Getting into the apartment was difficult. The company had sent a link to a ´boarding pass’ where there were 2 options - one to pay a non- refundable safety deposit of £30 the other to pay a refundable deposit of £300 which would be refunded if there was no damage to the property. This charge was not mentioned when we booked the apartment The property cost £1043..19 for two nights so it was very expensive and we were 3 females in our 70s so unlikely to be having wild parties. Very reluctantly I opted for the first option and details of the key safe were then provided. I was uncomfortable putting in card details so paid using ApplePay, at this point we were standing out side on the rain. We did eventually find the key safe but could not get the safe to open with the code provided. We then phoned the number provided for help if there were any difficulties. The assistant answered but was unable to send anyone to help us, when questioned as to where she was speaking from she said they were working offshore in Asia. We were told the caretaker might be able to come to help but that would take some time. Fortunately with two of us working on the key safe were did finally access a single set of keys.

Location is perfect for Troon Town centre and also for the beach front. Driveway for car parking was spacious. All the rooms were huge. Privacy between the rooms was great aswell.

The shower in the main bathroom was a bit small but the ensuite shower was fine.

I liked how clean, big, and elegant the place was. The kitchen was warm and beautiful. Everything in the room was neat. It was very close to the beach, only one minute walking. There were many cafes, shops, and the city center was just four minutes on foot.

There was a road with fast cars and no crossing line for pedestrians when you cross to go to the beach, so you have to be careful, especially with children.

The house is near to town and shops and restaurants.

The property is being advertised as luxury. It isn't. There are many things needing to be addressed to bring it up to a luxury status. It was far too expensive for the current level of accommodation

Good location. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. New kitchen and bathroom. Parking.

Very dated en suite. Shower didn’t work properly. Cheap plastic toilet seat. Shame as the en suite lets the property down. Garden looking rather unkempt.
