Apartmány Vulcano

A very modern, new and comfortable apartment and a great base for exploring the Pálava region. Everything felt fresh and well maintained. The air conditioning is located in the living room and, if left running, it can comfortably cool the whole apartment. Just keep in mind that the living room cools down first, while it takes a little longer for the cooler air to reach the bedroom – useful to know on particularly hot summer days. There is also a TV with working streaming services, which is a nice bonus if you feel like relaxing in the evening, and there is space downstairs to safely store bicycles. The living room and kitchen have high roof windows rather than regular windows, and there is no balcony or terrace, so the apartment itself is more functional than atmospheric. However, the bedroom has a normal window, and overall the apartment was very comfortable and worked very well for our three-night stay. The location is a major advantage. Perná is an excellent starting point for exploring Pálava – you can walk across the hills towards Pavlov, there are plenty of great cycling routes nearby, and Mikulov is very easy to reach. Perná itself is also a wine village, with several places where you can taste local wines. I would definitely recommend starting at Vinařství Bobojčev. The wine prices are almost unbelievably low, and you can also try some tasty traditional Czech pickled snacks. I would actually suggest going there before visiting some of the more expensive wineries in the area – afterwards, you can decide for yourself how much difference the higher prices really make :) You may be pleasantly surprised and end up staying at Bobojčev much longer than planned. Overall, Apartmány Vulcano is a very good choice if you want a clean, modern and comfortable base for exploring Pálava, Mikulov and the surrounding wine country.

Krásný, velký, kvalitně vybavený apartmán, Vše fungovalo, jak mělo. Přestože má kuchyňská linka asi polovinu skříněk prázdných, je vybavená celkem dostatečně. Velkou výhodou je klimatizace a také účinné rolety na všech oknech. V přízemí je místnost na úschovu kol. Parkování není vyhrazené a je před budovou na ulici, ale s místem problém nebyl. K ubytování je možné objednat snídani, která se podává v restauraci vzdálené asi 5 minut chůze. Se snídaní jsem byl spokojený, nabídka je tak akorát, všeho bylo dost a co došlo, bylo postupně doplněno. Apartmán stojí ve vedlejší ulici a ještě má okna do dvora, takže žádný hluk z dopravy. Jen ti kohouti ráno...

V kuchyni překvapivě chyběla vývrtka, naštěsti se v jednom místním sklípku dalo pořídit víno se šroubovacím uzávěrem. Také mi chyběl větší porcelánový hrnek na čaj.

Krásný, nový a čistý penzión. Výborně vybavená kuchyň. V koupelně pračka. Umístění v centru obce u kostela.
