It was private and secluded , hiking trails right from the door.
Lighting outside was limited which made it harder to find the first time and more difficult to get into at night . There could have been a few kitchen towels. Minor things

Peaceful cottage tucked away in an old and historic little village. Authentic atmosphere and traditional Tuscany views with beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the top-floor bedrooms. Every room has an en-suite bathroom and the house has everything you need for multy day stay.
As the village sits on top of a hill, the only minor challenge might be the final uphill stretch of road. It’s a bit steep, so something to keep in mind depending on your vehicle.

The house is beautifully sited and decorated with classic Tuscan country decor with some modern flourishes. The beds were firm, which I like. The location has wonderful views and is very quiet, but is also near a village with a fantastic restaurant (Osteria il Bibbio).
It wasn't clear where to park near the house. We ended up parking in a small field close by, which was fine. The hosts ask that you pay the very minimal local tax as a direct bank debit in Euros, which is complicated for non-EU visitors, rather than by credit card.
