We had a large bright room at the front. Large comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Some have balcony’s. There’s a terrace too. Air conditioning worked and spacious shower. Clean staircases and reception. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very close to 2 fantastic restaurants, and good breakfast served. Well located for site seeing using taxi, a large local handicraft shop and friendly. Felt like we were part of a community here as everyone was friendly.

The view from the rooms at the back are more basic. It helps to have google maps to assist some of the taxis locate it!

I liked everything about this property. Il struggle to find a reason to give anything less than 10/10. Location is close to centre although little difficult to find if you are unfamiliar with the area. Service was excellent. Staff were very helpful during my stay - as well as before the booking. They arranged shuttle from airport, laundry, food takeaway, hire car and countless questions during the night.

Location

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, which is conveniently situated in the Blue Area. I had booked a family room through Booking.com; however, the room description was vague and didn’t specify the type of beds provided. Based on the listing, I expected two master beds, but the room actually had one queen bed and one single bed, and it was much smaller than anticipated. Also the reception staff is not very welcoming. The room layout was also poorly designed — the washroom door opened directly in front of the beds, which felt uncomfortable. There was no air-circulating fan, and running the AC led to extremely low humidity, which disrupted our sleep. Basic amenities like a kettle or tea bags were missing in the room. Instead, guests are expected to use a shared kitchenette on the floor, which is not at all practical when you're staying with family. Cleanliness was also an issue — the commode was dirty when we checked in. The hotel does not have its own kitchen and relies on a partnership with Salt n Pepper. Even for a simple cup of tea, it is sourced from a roadside dhabba, which was quite disappointing. I had booked this place based on the positive reviews on Booking.com, but my experience did not match the expectations at all. There are definitely better options available in the same price range.
