Village Camp Truckee

Clean property, easy check in process, beautiful area and perfect for groups and kids! Staff is not always present but available by text or phone on case of an emergency.

The gym was mid and needs an update desperately. It was locked a few times so I wasn’t able to use it.

The quality of the property is amazing. everything at the property was designed for comfort.

I like all of it - it exceed our expectations in any way - our hut/cottage was new, very clean, has everything we needed (and more) and all was high end and very good. It's closed to the highway so it took us only 12 minutes to Northstar village in the mornings. Almost didn't want to recommend it because I wanted to keep it to myself ;)

would love it to be ski in/out but you can't ask for all ;)

This is our second stay at Village Camp. We like how close it is to Tahoe and downtown Truckee. The tiny homes are well stocked, clean and safe and we enjoy the porch area to relax throughout the day.

There was a large group that booked the same days we were there that were incredibly loud, did not follow the rules with the quiet hours and set up bbq’s and food up against the side of our place on the last day and night we were there. The last night we were there they were sitting directly in front of our place drinking till about 10pm and there were kids running around and screaming till midnight. We felt like we couldn’t go out on our patio to enjoy our last night there. It was super disappointing and disrespectful of the group. Also, since there isn’t any staff on the premises (to my knowledge) there was no one to call or to shut down the group that had taken over the Village Camp tiny home area. For the price that we paid for three nights to stay and a full night of not being able to enjoy our place to the fullest we’ll never come back here. It’s unfortunate because we would have loved to come back.
