En Poniente

L'appartamento è grande, c'è molto spazio per tutto, c'è anche la terrazza e persino una lavanderia dove lavare e appendere i costumi da bagno! Abbiamo apprezzato anche il condizionatore in ogni camera, la lavastoviglie e la TV con Netflix! Il proprietario è gentilissimo, sempre pronto con consigli e, quando avevamo dimenticato alcune cose dopo il checkout, ci ha avvisato e siamo potuti tornare a recuperarle! Nel complesso, esperienza più che buona.

Lo scarico della doccia e del WC puzzava dopo aver tirato l'acqua o aperto l'acqua della doccia: dovevamo tenere aperte la finestra del bagno, che è l'unica senza zanzariere, e così le zanzare sono entrate in casa. Consigliamo al proprietario di rivedere e risistemare gli scarichi. Una piccola nota solo sul quartiere, che non è il massimo dell'attrattività (tutt'altro): per passeggiate serali è più sicuro prendere l'auto o i mezzi e spostarsi da un'altra parte, non di certo lì nei dintorni. Tuttavia, la spiaggia più vicina è a 5 minuti a piedi (ma è di fianco al porto industriale).

We had a truly wonderful stay at El Poniente and would happily return again. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcome. The owner learned that I was celebrating a milestone birthday during my stay and surprised me with a thoughtful gift and a lovely birthday note waiting in the apartment. It was such a kind gesture that made my special occasion even more memorable. The apartment itself was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Everything was functional and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, and having a washing machine was extremely convenient during our stay. The hosts were exceptional – always friendly, responsive, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel at home throughout our visit. The location is excellent. Gibraltar border is only about a 15-minute easy walk away, making it perfect for anyone planning to visit Gibraltar. Taxis are readily available from all directions and cost around €5, which is very convenient. There is also a supermarket just 3 minutes away, making it easy to buy groceries and daily essentials. However, the highlight for me was the terrace and the breathtaking view. Every morning and evening I found myself taking photos because the scenery was simply beautiful. Watching the ships, the sea, the mountains, and the changing light throughout the day became part of my daily routine. It is a view I will genuinely miss. El Poniente offered everything we needed: comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you for helping make my birthday trip so special. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone visiting La Línea and Gibraltar. We left with wonderful memories and hope to return in the future. ❤️

The only small downside was that there were some mosquitoes which we do not have in England:). However, I later noticed that the host had thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent and other supplies in the apartment, which showed once again how much attention had been given to guests' comfort.

La casa è molto grande e ha molte stanze da letto, può ospitare gruppi numerosi. È pulita e ha tutto il necessario. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile.

L'assenza di aria condizionata è un difetto insormontabile in un posto così caldo, non abbiamo affatto riposato infatti perché i numerosi ventilatori disposti in casa non sono sufficienti. Il letto è piccolo e le lenzuola sono sintetiche, queste due cose quando fa così caldo peggiorano solo la situazione. Peccato.
