Very disappointing experience — poor management, dirty conditions, and completely different room than booked; a waste of

Unfortunately, there was nothing we liked about this property. SCAM DON’T STAY PLEASE

We rented room with kitchen but when we arrived there were people we called owner she just ignored and at the end blocked our number saying she gave us right room but on booking it is clear written big room with kitchen as we didn’t have extra money we stayed in small dirty cheap room. We work hard to earn that money. It was horrible experience The property was very dirty, with worn-out bed sheets and old, damaged furniture. Other guests were drinking daily, playing loud music, inviting friends over, and creating constant noise. There was also a strong unpleasant smell throughout the property.

The description was correct: it's a tiny room with just enough place for a bed (nothing else, not even a chair). It's right in the centre of the old city.

Terrible experience. No possibility to join the phone number given in the confirmation. No answer to e-mails or other messages (or only hours later). As required, I sent them my ID to get access to the information concerning the obtention of the keys (revealed only when you are standing right in front of the house). But still, I got loads of sms, e-mails etc. telling me I didn't send the documents – and no answers to my questions what to do and why they didn't acknowledge the reception of my ID. Finally, we got the key details and got into the flat. 10 minutes later, the lights went off, apparently a problem with the fuse. I contacted the responsible person via WhatsApp (he/she didn't ever answer to phone calls). They answered that they would find the person who could repair it. Then they asked me to phone another number - where nobody answered. I told them they were responsible for getting the light switched on. Four hours later, nothing was done. I finally joined the second number - but the guy refused to tell me how long it would take. Apparently, one hour later, he had repaired it (at least he asked via WA if the lights were working again)- but we already had decided for another place. At this time, I got an e-mail (as an answer to a former e-mail of mine) telling me to contact another phone number... to receive information how to get into the flat. Those people are completely unprofessional, uncoordinated and rude. I just hope they won't use my ID for any illegal stuff.

The shared bathroom is fine and kept clean, though the doors are translucent which allows light into the room in the middle of the night. I'd recommend curtains for sounder sleep. The kettle is old and needs to be replaced.

We entered the room and saw a disgusting thing. The bed sheets had blood on them and black stains. Food on the floor. A dead fly in the mirror with its blood still on the mirror. I have pictures of all of them. I called and I texted the to property owner asking politely to come and clean. Nobody replied. I called booking and they tried to reach someone out. After 2 hours the booking told us that they wouldn't come to clean. We left the apartment and we booked another place to stay. The next days we asked to be refunded. Nobody replies neither to us nor booking. Booking's policy on these topics is horrible. I have made a claim on the European consumer center where they hire lawyers to handle these kind of situations in order to get my money back.

Dissatisfied and refugee like stay.

Only the location was great. But there are many other stays around the area with the same great location with much better quality.

We booked a room for a family of three, including a baby. However, the room we were given had no space to move around. As soon as we opened the door, we were faced with a small bed tightly wedged between the walls, almost like a rabbit hole. This room should not be marketed for more than one or two people at most. We couldn’t sleep the entire night and ended up moving to another hotel the next day. Very disappointing experience.

The place was a little hard to find because was no reception or a hotel sign. At first I couldn't find the entrance or the room and I had little difficulties with the keylock. After these problem were solved through WhatsApp help everything was quite easy.

Check in was so confusing, despite clearly stated the time that we would arrive at the property, the owner said they would send the instructions for checking in but they never did. We try calling them multiple times but no one answered, and had to stay outside in the cold and only got the instructions through text almost an hour later. The bed was a sofa bed and very squeaky, the shared bathroom did not have a lock so other guests kept entering when there’s already someone inside. Thin walls so you could basically hear every from the other rooms.

The location, the shower.

It was not my first time in this place, the last two times everything was amazing and good communication. But this time I waited for an hour to get to my apartment (after extending for one more night). The communication with the owner was okay at the morning and we decided that I check out from the smaller room and check in to the larger room. In the afternoon, the communication was horrible! Eventually when he texted me on WhatsApp I got the wrong room, when I tried to call him or text him there was no answer, I open a dispute about this in booking and got refunded for the half price, I accepted the fact I got a smaller room although I payed for the larger one. Honestly, I won’t book there again, the experience was very disappointing.

Excellent hostel, especially considering the value for money.

Great location right in the city center. Excellent very large and comfortable bed. High ceilings in the room. Ironed bed linen. Good iron and hairdryer. The room had a kettle, coffee, sugar, tea. Large clean towels. In the bathroom there was shower gel, toothpaste, ear sticks. Large refrigerator with freezer. Good price.

The shower stall was leaking in the bathroom. In the shower, it was difficult to adjust the temperature of the water: it was either very hot or cold. We planned to check in at 16:00, but had to wait for about 20 minutes for the instructions to get into the room, standing outside with bags.

Standard z lat 90, za tą samą cenę jest wiele fajnych hoteli, nawet bym problem żeby zapewnić papier toaletowy. Plus proszeni o wysyłanie dokumentów przez wats up, to nie legalne.

W łazience będącej częścią wspólną najbardziej zaskakująca była szafka opluta flegmą oraz sedes naznaczony wzorami z odchodów :/ Biorąc pod uwagę relatywnie niski koszt noclegu można się było spodziewać niższego standardu, natomiast zaniedbania pod względem czystości były zbyt rażące 💔 Właściciel obiektu wymaga wysłania zdjęcia dowodów tożsamości w celu dokonania zakwaterowania, a na miejscu nie ma nikogo, komu można by było pokazać dokument jedynie do wglądu. Kody wejściowe nie są wysyłane z wyprzedzeniem, co w tym przypadku było problematyczne ze względu na późną godzinę kwaterunku pomimo wcześniejszej zapowiedzi. W przypadku braku możliwości odwołania rezerwacji kody dostępu zdecydowanie powinny być wysyłanie wcześniej

Der Check-in war schrecklich. Viele unnötige Anweisungen. Aber wir haben bei der Buchung nicht die notwendigen Informationen zum Betreten der Wohnung erhalten. Es waren 4 Telefonnummern aufgeführt, die wir über WhatsApp oder Telegram anrufen mussten, wobei niemand auf die erste Nummer antwortete, die zweite wurde unhöflich beantwortet, indem die erste Anweisung verlesen wurde, die dritte wurde beantwortet, dass sie uns nicht rechtzeitig einchecken könnten. Infolgedessen standen wir, nachdem wir vom Flughafen angekommen waren, mit Taschen unter der Tür am Eingang und warteten auf eine Antwort, wo der Code für die Wohnung angegeben werden würde. Der Check-in auf der Website ist um 16:00 Uhr, und wir kamen nach 18:00 Uhr an. Das Zimmer war schmutzig. Eine Staubschicht, ein schmutziges Handtuch lag auf dem Regal. Jemand hatte eine Brillenserviette auf dem Kleiderregal vergessen, deshalb wurde auch dort der Staub nicht abgewischt. Das Foto entspricht nicht der Realität. Die Duschtür im Badezimmer ist kaputt, man kann sich nicht waschen. Es ist sehr laut, die ganze Nacht über checkt jemand ein und aus. Man kann dort nicht schlafen. Das Zimmer ist für zwei Personen ausgelegt ... Eine Person passt normalerweise nicht hinein.

Pokój brudny, nie sprzątany, pełno kurzu, okna brudne, w łazience popsute drzwi kabinowe, więc woda na podłodze to standard. Brak papieru toaletowego, brak worków na śmieci- ze śmieciami trzeba sobie radzić samemu bo zarządca nie odbiera śmieci ,brak szafy. Trzeba ze sobą przywieźć przybory kuchenne wraz z deską do krojenia bo nie ma nic żeby przygotować posiłek nie ma aneksu kuchennego, a lodówka stoi na korytarzu. Kuchnia została przerobiona na pokój. W ofercie są udogodnienia dla gości, których w rzeczywistości nie ma, choćby brak suszarki, brak aneksu kuchennego, brak obsługi pokoju, brak sprzętu do grilowaniia itd. Kontaktu z zarządcą brak, z wielką łaską dostaliśmy informacje o kodach do drzwi, mało tego okazało się że pokój w którym byliśmy, został wynajęty innej osobie w tym samym czasie,która stała pod posesją z walizkami i przez 2 godziny próbowała się skontaktować z zarządcą bez skutku, zresztą ja też dzwoniłam też bez skutku, dopiero po interwencji i pomocy obsługi booking, znaleziono dla niej nowy obiekt, sytuacja wręcz nie do pomyślenia! Widać że zarządca jest ewidentnie nastawiony na zysk a goście zostawiani bez jakiegokolwiek informacji na ulicy. Dla mnie to zwykłe oszustwo i cwaniactwo! Wstyd żeby tak ludzi traktować! Nie polecam!!!

Довольнотаки большой номер, хорошее местоположение.

Нет шкафа, негде развесить вещи, диван для двоих людей очень маленький и при этом сломанный. Самым большим неудобством было: это то что один общий маленький туалет с ванной, на три комнаты, то есть на довольнотаки большое количество людей, и это очень дискомфортно. Со шторами какая-то трагедия, полностью занавесить окна невозможно, часть из них сломана.

Rigtig dårlig oplevelse som ødelagde de første dage af vores ferie.

Vi havde bestilt et værelse til 2 børn på 10 og 12 år og en voksen. Der var kun en dobbeltseng. Vi måtte på skift sove på gulvet. Hverken booking eller værten ville hjælpe med at få en ekstra seng/værelse. Værelset var beskidt og badeværelset ligeså. Kan ABSOLUT ikke anbefales!

Værtens attitude overfor vores behov. Besværligt bare at få nøglen og koden til at komme ind, man kunne kun have korrespondance via sms/whatsapp med værten som kun svarede på polsk! Dårlig service!

die Art der Kommunikation ist sehr unangenehm: man spricht mit niemandem persönlich. Das Erhalten der Türcodes ist sehr kompliziert. Wenn ich nicht die Menschen aus Norwegen getroffen hätte, wäre es eine sehr anstrengende Situation geworden. Es gab keine Vorhänge im Raum!

Rewelacja, jeśli Gdańsk, to z pewnością rozważę ponowny wynajem!

Wielkie, wygodne łóżko i lokalizacja! Pokój czysty, duża szafa na rzeczy osobiste, wygodny fotel, czajnik, kawa i herbata w pokoju, wyjątkowo gorący prysznic <3 i ogólnie przytulna łazienka. Lokal tuż obok najbardziej uczęszczanych ulic, miejsc i lokali w Gdańsku, wszędzie można dostać się spacerem.

Nie otrzymałem na czas informacji o sposobie dostania się do lokalu. Dzwoniąc pod wskazany numer - nie odpowiadał, musiałem znaleźć inny, który dopiero odebrał i odpisał. Następnie na miejscu okazało się, że otrzymany kod do skrytki jest inny, niż przekazany w wiadomości. Zachowując spokój, ostatecznie wszytko zostało sprawnie rozwiązane :)
