De zeer vlotte afhandeling van de reservatie en prima communicatie op de dag van aankomst, maakte het uitkijken naar het verblijf al de moeite. Het huis is heel goed gelegen, zeer rustig en toch maar op 300m van het water. Het leek nog een nieuwe woning te zijn en was bij aankomst heel netjes en voorzien van alle faciliteiten, ook een (kleine) sauna. De slaapkamers zijn basic, maar comfortabel. De leefruimte en keuken is heel gezellig en ook de buitentafel is een troef. De meubels zijn mooi en degelijk, in een stijlvol kleurenpalet. De omgeving rond het huis is mooi en groen aangelegd. Het was tijdens ons verblijf bijzonder stil en heerlijk rustig in het park. Het is prachtig wandelen in de omgeving, zowel aan het water als in het natuurgebied.
De vaatwas is onhandig om in te laden en waste niet goed af, ondanks dat we de sproeiarmen gereinigd hadden. Wij waren met 8, maar voor 12 personen is het servies en de keukenuitrusting mogelijk te krap. Iets heel anders, maar kan wel vervelend zijn als je aan die kant een slaapkamer hebt: vooral 's nachts is het geluid van de kikkers in de wadi bijzonder luid, zelfs met de ramen en ventilatie toe.
