Solar dos Gandums by Atlantic Places

This was our second stay at Casa Solar dos Gandums in Pêra, and we loved it just as much as the first time. We enjoyed our previous stay so much that coming back was an easy decision! The house is perfect for large groups, with 7 bedrooms, a great swimming pool, a BBQ area, and plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The outdoor area is definitely the highlight – the volleyball court, table tennis table, and large garden kept both adults and kids entertained throughout our stay. There’s also plenty of room to park several cars with no hassle. We made some amazing memories with family and friends and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. A big thank you to Atlantic Places for another wonderful stay. We hope to be back again soon!

This villa gave us exactly the kind of break we were hoping for. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a beautiful garden and a generously sized swimming pool that is kept in excellent condition. It was obvious that the pool is regularly looked after, and the water was always crystal clear. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy our time without having to worry about missing essentials. One of our favorite things was relaxing by the pool with a cup of coffee and soaking up the sunshine. The atmosphere is peaceful, calm, and perfect for unwinding. Spending a lazy afternoon by the pool felt like a little piece of paradise. The property feels private, peaceful, and welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about coming back in the future. Thank you for creating such a relaxing place to stay.

Great location and beautiful scenery. The homestay is spacious, comfortable, and offers a pleasant environment. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.

La situation géographique c’est à dire Pêra est au centre de l’Algarve. Donc peu de distance pour les visites. Villa spacieuse.

Poubelle de tout le quartier devant la villa. Ustensile de cuisine pas adapté pour 13 personnes (petite passoire, pas de planche à découper, pas de petit couteau de cuisine, le barbecue est trop petit) Dans une des chambres la porte de la douche est manquante. Poubelle de salle de bain cassée. Les coussins du salon de jardin sont tachés. Nous n’avions qu’un seul torchon pour 13 personnes et 9 jours, alors que le linge de maison était inclus. Joins des terrasses fissurés, donc herbe à ces endroits Pas de climatisation dans la cuisine, chaleur intenable. Tous les jours une personne venait à la villa, pour traiter la piscine et vérifier le système d’arrosage des plantes et cela sans nous prévenir. Parfois nous étions absents et d’autres fois nous étions à table ou dans la piscine. Le propriétaire ne nous a pas informé que cette personne passerait tous les jours. Pas d’état des lieux d’entrée ni de sortie. Nous n’avons donc pas pu faire un retour au propriétaire sur ces points. Sur les photos il n’y avait pas voisins, alors qu’il a un maison collée à la villa. Nous devions avoir accès à un lac, mais le portail pour y accéder avait un cadenas.
