Vigo Retreat Yurt

Vigo Retreat is a fabulous place to unwind and enjoy the quiet nature. In the morning you can hear birds chirping which was very relaxing. Our group enjoyed having picnic outside, doing BBQ and just walking around. The bed was comfy and the Yurt was so cute decorated by fairy lights which adds to its charm. Andy and his wife were amazing hosts, responds quickly to messages and welcomed us warmly! Bonus welcome from Winnie (their adorable dog). We absolutely loved our stay!

Vigo retreat is not your average B&B, it is unique huts, barns or yurt accommodations in a landscaped field. You are close to nature, but very comfortably close. I was in a Yurt with TV, fridge, microwave, sink, kettle with ample drinks supplies, and comfortable beds. The toilet and shower were outside, not far away. Great location for exploring Kent, nearby National Trust sites and Brands Hatch.

We loved the setting, the style and comfort, the attention to detail and awareness of how to keep the area wild for nature. The breakfast wasn`t the best we ever had, but everything else made up for that.....oh and thanks for the use of the wheelbarrow for our fire fix ! We met Amber and Andys Mum who were extremely helpful, and even let me pinch some seeds from their splendid Hollyhocks......in case Amber never received my text, I wanted to let you know the plant I pulled out wasnt a young Japanese Knotweed as I suspected, thankfully, it was Russian Vine which is also very invasive, so it needed getting out anyway !

The cloudy sky when there were meteor showers going on, but there is nothing you could`ve done about that!
