Yellow Hill Penthouse

We stayed at the Yellow Hill Penthouse for a week and had an absolutely amazing time. The property is in a quiet part of Gozo but with plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk away. The apartment is modern, clean and very spacious with a fantastic rooftop terrace with private pool. We really enjoyed the pool and the views are breathtaking with an amazing view of sunrise. We arrived later than expected at the apartment at around 11:30pm and Jason kindly met us at the property to welcome us and to show us around. The apartment was perfect, we were a family of 5 and there was lots of space and it was very comfortable. The main highlights are the view and the pool which were both amazing. We were able to get around easily by walking, bus and taxis. There were some excellent restaurants on the seafront a short walk away but we were also able to easily get food delivered to the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Jason is a great host and checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was ok. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Malta.

Fantastisk lejlighed med to balkoner, hvor den primære har en fantastisk udsigt og er meget uforstyrret. På taget er der en terrasse med liggestole, parasoller og en privat pool, som vi nød rigtigt meget. Vi havde lejet en bil, og beliggenheden er rigtig god for at komme rundt på Gozo. Alle de steder vi skulle til, kunne vi nå inden for 10-20 minutter i bil, hvilket var super dejligt. Lejligheden ligger desuden 5-7 minutter fra Marsalforn marina, hvor du kan finde restauranter, mindre butikker, bådture og vandaktiviteter (bl.a. dykning) og ikke mindst kan bade. Selve lejligheden var super godt rengjort, og har alle de bekvemmeligheder man forventer sig. A/C var effektiv, og vi sov godt i sengene. Udlejer er venlig og behjælpelig.

Vi kunne godt have tænkt os lidt flere muligheder for skygge ved pool og på hovedterrassen. Der er først skygge på hovedterrassen fra omkring kl. 12-13, og poolen er i fuld sol hele dagen. Nogle muligheder for at skærme solen lidt af, ville være dejligt. Du kan dog finde skygge på den bagerste terrasse frem til ca. 10:30, så vi spiste morgenmaden der. Sengene kunne være lidt blødere efter vores smag. Parkering er gadeparkering, og det kan til tider være lidt krævende at finde en parkeringsplads – specielt hvis du kommer sent hjem. Vi fandt dog altid en plads inden for en bloks afstand, og ofte meget tættere på. Men det kan kræve lidt, da der skal parallelparkeres og der er meget høje og ujævne kantsten.

Apartment was great. Well equipped, spacious, with amazing view. It was quite windy during our stay but we got to use pool twice and that’s really nice experience.. The view from living room is is truly amazing. At first I was a bit terrified about neighbourhood. it’s mostly unfinished constructions and most of people staying there are workers but after all it was quite, calm and safe. There are some really good restaurants in the city centre next to sea, and a great place with speciality coffee. There is also a really nice playground 5 minute walking distance.

The spaciousness and the Wow factor - the view must be one of the best around from the living area and balcony and then from the roof the heated pool with a 360 view is just fantastic. Plenty of space in the roof for sunbathing .
