Villa Fleming

Property was in a great location. Size of accommodation was very good with great sized bedrooms.

Some of the previous reviews really concerned us, so much that we tried to cancel booking but deposit was too excessive to lose. Communication with property managers leading up to visit was quite blunt and not very reassuring. Thankfully some of the previous issues raised from other guests reviews had been rectified but the property was certainly very tired and not in great condition. However we still experienced the following > water pressure in all showers was awful, how we managed to shower every night I have no idea but not much more than a sprinkle , light switches hanging from fitting, cleaning standards not great with all shower cubicles needing cleaned before use due to hair visible, broken handle to bathroom window, power out in utility late one evening but tbf the emergency contact was as helpful as could be giving it was about midnight but when electrician came next morning it was caused by faulty extension feeding fridge freezer & washing machine and removed and ended up running power cable for fridge freezer to kitchen causing a trip hazard. The pool was very dirty with discoloured tile grout, green in most areas. The pool also was out of use for nearly 3 days due to level dropping and only on the 3rd day someone came to check to say it couldn’t be used. It was on our final day. Also my son tore his foot getting into pool due to damaged tiles on steps entering pool. Surprisingly the sun loungers that had been mentioned also previously as threadbare was not replaced. On arrival we could see 8 loungers and as we removed from pile to place round pool there was 3 on top which was reasonably new but the remaining 5 were not fit for use,,,,,,shocking really. Property wasn’t the most child friendly either. And table tennis table at front of property wasn’t really poor condition and bats/balls not up to much to use. All in all not as bad as we worried about but still not great.
