It is equipped with a living room (upholstered furniture with sleeping function, dining area, flat-screen TV, radio/CD), bedroom (double bed), open-plan kitchenette (electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, various kitchen appliances), shower/WC, washing machine, central heating. The health resort of Brotterode-Trusetal is located 700 metres above sea level directly on the Rennsteig trail in the Thuringian Forest. Thanks to a well-developed tourist infrastructure, the town has become a popular holiday destination. In winter, there are 25 km of cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs and ski pistes, ski jumps and an ice rink. In summer, the many hiking trails and cycle paths are ideal for sporting activities. Those who prefer to relax can visit the Inselbergbad with its large sauna area or enjoy the regional cuisine in one of the many restaurants.
