Villa with pool in the centre of Fuerteventura

¡Una estancia maravillosa! La villa superó nuestras expectativas: todo estaba impecable y la decoración es preciosa. La zona de la piscina y la barbacoa son perfectas para relajarse. Las camas eran muy cómodas y la cocina estaba totalmente equipada. Además, la ubicación es excelente, en una zona tranquila pero cerca de supermercados, panadería, Gasolinera, farmacia etc...El anfitrión fue súper amable y estuvo dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. ¡Volveremos sin duda!"

Nos gustó absolutamente todo. Pero lo mejor fue la limpieza y el tamaño de todas las habitaciones y de la zona de piscina. Tuvimos un problema con uno de los baños, y en seguida vinieron a arreglarlo, así que también hay que destacar la buena comunicación con el alojamiento. 100% recomendable

The villa itself was beautiful and very spacious, with plenty of room and seating for everyone. It had a real traditional Spanish farmhouse feel like an old-style barn house lovely decorated with a charming, rustic look. There’s no air conditioning, but fans were provided. We didn’t actually need them during our stay as the villa stayed nice and cool inside. A car is definitely needed as the villa is quite far from shops and restaurants, and we couldn’t find any food delivery services or takeaways that delivered. It’s best to do a big food shop before arriving, as the local shop (Dino) is convenient but more like a Tesco Express in the UK, so a bit pricey. Luckily, we had a car booked, and the host was really helpful in arranging this especially as there was no deposit required, which made things much easier. Overall, it’s a lovely villa in a peaceful setting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the space.

The main issue we had with the villa was the pool. It was absolutely freezing, to the point that we didn’t use it at all it felt ice cold even on warm days. Except my crazy 9 years old daughter who was in it all day and every day, The owner should definitely look into solar panels or a heated cover for the pool, as well as improving the hot water system. The hot water ran out very quickly, which isn’t ideal for a large family of 8. This made it difficult for everyone to shower comfortably. There were also a few power cuts during our stay, although these seemed to be due to the weather. The WiFi was a bit unreliable too it cut out now and then and didn’t reach throughout the whole villa. That said, the villa itself was good overall, and the loft room was brilliant perfect for guests or kids.

The villa itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well laid out. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the pool area is fantastic — large pool, plenty of outdoor seating, and perfect for families. Complimentary water and some basic staple foods on arrival would have been a nice extra touch but you can't have everything.

Unfortunately, our experience was severely impacted by what appeared to be a bed bug infestation discovered shortly after arrival. Both my wife and I suffered numerous painful bites, with allergic reactions including swelling, redness, and intense itching. We provided photographic evidence to the property manager, including dead bugs, husks, and droppings on the mattress, but our concerns were denied without inspection. No treatment or cleaning was carried out, and the only “solution” offered was that we could leave — with the added threat that if we contacted Booking.com, we would have to vacate the villa the next day. This was extremely distressing, especially as we had chosen the property for its secluded location for our honeymoon and could not afford to relocate. Planned maintenance was stopped after our complaint, only to resume on the night before departure, further disturbing our stay. We spent the remainder of our trip packed and ready to leave at short notice, which took away any chance of relaxing and enjoying our time. When we spoke with the cleaning crew on the morning of our departure, they confirmed they had been notified about the bugs — despite the property manager dismissing our report and claiming there was no issue. Booking.com tried to help but the property manager refused to take responsibility or offer any refund. The lack of action and empathy meant that our honeymoon was marred by stress, anxiety, and discomfort — something no guest should have to experience. While the villa’s facilities and layout are impressive, the unacceptable hygiene standards and the property manager’s dismissive attitude mean I cannot recommend staying here at present. If the cleanliness and hygiene of the villa were brought up to standard, this property would easily be a gold star accommodation.
