This nicely remodelled apartment is centrally located in Bracciano, a beautiful little resort town an hour north of Rome. It's a five minute walk from the train station, 10 to 15 minutes to the town square, and a half-hour to the beach on the lake. The kitchen and baths were totally updated in a contemporary style. There are two balconies and a small outdoor eating area. The owner's father was available to handle details that came up. The building and neighborhood were safe and secure. Hard to see what could have been better!
No air conditioning, but that is uncommon in Italy. There are big fans. For coffee there is an expresso maker and french press. (Americans bring your Melita cone!) We were confused by the elaborate Italian system of recycling and how and when to take out the various trash components but eventally got better. All of this is minor nit-picking though. We loved our experience.

L'appartement correspondait en tout point à la description et était fonctionnelle. Bien qu'il soit située sur une artère principale, il est au calme car donnant sur l'arrière du batiment. La petite terrasse était agréable. Le propriétaire était très sympa et à l'écoute mais seulement au téléphone. On aurait néanmoins aimé discuter avec lui en sa présence car , et si on choisit ce genre d'hébergement, c'est pour pouvoir échanger avec les locaux . Il y a également un excellent restaurant avec de la très bonne cuisine locale et très abordable juste à côté de l'appartement et l'ensemble du personnel est très serviable et gentil.
Les matelas manquent de confort : ils sont trop mous à notre gôut.
Bracciano est en plein dans le couloir aérien (au niveau des atterissages) de l'aéroport de Fiumicino : vu la fréquentation et la taille de l'aéroport, c'est assez déroutant si on en a pas l'habitude.
Malgré sa renommée, Bracciano dans son ensemble n'est pas très entretenue : elle le mériterait pourtant....

Un’intera casa a disposizione, tutti gli spazi sono molto ampi, confortevoli e pulitissimi. Nuova, arredata con gusto, moderna, ho adorato le scritte sui muri e la cascata nella doccia !
Posizione ottima, 5 min a piedi dalla stazione e dal centro storico. In 5 min di macchina sono arrivata al lago.
Accoglienza ottima, il proprietario molto gentile , mi ha accontentato sugli orari di check-in e check-out.
Consiglio assolutamente! Tornerò!
