Apollon - Acropolis Residence Apartment

The apartment has a great layout with a nice separation of the bedroom, lots of room and light with a giant terrace that has city/neighborhood views. Sitting on the terrace, the street noise was definitely noticeable, but once inside with the doors shut, it was VERY quiet. Furnishings were in good shape & comfortable. A large grocery store is just a couple blocks away and some neighborhood restaurants are close though we mostly ate closer to Acropolis Hill. The location is okay - neighborhood is fine though about a 30 min walk to the Acropolis area. We did take uber a couple times for 7-10eu when we were tired at the end of the day.

We had trouble finding the keybox. The codes and even a video were provided but we couldn't make sense of the video based on standing at the front door. The keybox is actually a couple of blocks away! It would have been helpful to know that and we suggested they add that info to the check-in email we received. Once we found the keys, access was easy. There are 2 a/c units but the one in the bedroom wasn't working - luckily we didn't NEED it, so didn't report it until we left. It took us a couple of texts to understand the hot water functioning, but once we understood, it worked perfectly.

Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Die Gegend ist gut, es ist in der Wohnung und auch in unmittelbarer Nähe alles vorhanden.

Beim Betreten des Hauses begrüßte uns jedesmal ein äußerst unangenehmer Geruch. Dieser war in der Wohnung nicht wahrnehmbar.

To be told the exact location of the lockbox and not have to phone the owner at 1A.M. for it. To be warned of the leaking kitchen tap so not to come back to find wet floor in the kitchen.
