Emerald - 10mins from Stampede Park

Lots of space and a large kitchen. Very convenient to have laundry machines inside the unit as well. Nice parks located nearby as well as a lovely coffee shop. Grocery store/pharmacy also in walking distance.

One of the two beds is extremely stiff and we were not able to utilize it due to it being uncomfortable(I'm sure some people may love this mattress style though). The couch in the living room is very worn (holes in the seats) and also quite uncomfortable if you sit in the "wrong spot". The walls were visibly dirty with shoe marks, hand prints and general smudges. The owners upstairs have young children that stomp, run and jump loudly in the early mornings (routinely by 8am) so sleeping in was also not an option. It also wasn't uncommon to hear music blasting from upstairs or their children having meltdowns.

the location was great, there was ample parking, close proximaty to several useful businesses (groceries, take away, drug store). i really liked how spacious the property was. the island was a great place to hang around when we were at the property. great for eating, visiting, playing games. would recommend bringing slippers.

the parking wasn't well defined, were we supposed to park in front or behind the owners car? the property was clean-ish. you could tell the most of the space was swept and wiped but there was hair behind the bathroom door, i had to clean the mirror before i could see in it. there was toothpaste spatters on the bathroom taps. there were bits of fluff and debris on the rug in the space, there was no dish cloth but an old sponge. and i had to buy toilet paper while we were there as we were left with about a half roll for 2 guests during a 2 day stay.

Very large apartment with kitchen, bathroom, lounge and laundry.

We knew about the stairs to this basement apartment, but lugging our big bags was difficult. Despite this the apartment has the potential to be excellent, need: instructions for the a/c, coffee supplies, face washers, dish cloth & tea towel, usb ports.

The local area felt safe. The apartment was large and spacious. Air conditioning worked well.

It wasn’t very clean. Clearly someone’s home- which is fine but heavy marked all over the walls. The cooker was filthy and full of grease up the wall. Certainly wasn’t value for money
