This was a perfect location for Madison County. We have family in one of the outlining communities and this was the best location to visit them, also was close to see the covered bridges of Madison County and the John Wayne Birthplace museum. The host was great. She was making sure we had everything we needed, including umbrellas when it was raining cats and dogs. It was in a quiet neighborhood and 30-minute drive from everything, including downtown Des Moines. We will stay here again the next time we are out here to visit.
