The ALMMATURA is for young and old alike—for both heart and mind. You’ll learn to milk Zirbale, the Swiss stone pine cow, work with wood, sample local delicacies, and get to know traditional alpine farming.
We’ll treat you to dishes made with Nockfleisch: omelet and liver dumpling soup, grilled beef, roast pork with bread dumplings, Wiener schnitzel, our Hiasl Burger, Carinthian noodles... We also offer the Hiasl Swiss Stone Pine Snacks, the already famous Glundner cheese, open-faced Alpine sandwiches, Kaiserschmarrn, Carinthian Reindling, apple cake, quark strudel, and much more.
On-site fees: Dogs are welcome at the Hiaslhütte and the Sennerhütte! The fee for your four-legged friend is €10 per night. All offers include final cleaning, bed linens, and towels; local and lodging taxes are not included. Hiaslhütte: firewood included. Slow Food breakfast or half-board available for booking! From mid-March through early May and in November, meals are not available—the alpine inn is closed.
