Summary:
Welcome to the best listing in Downtown Roanoke. This upper loft retreat gives you the option to walk anywhere in downtown Roanoke but also be nestled inside your own private home. This newly renovated 3 bedroom loft has all the amenities you could ask for- great natural light, full kitchen with island, large living room, laundry room, TV's in each bedroom, and a rear deck. Just bring yourself, your gear, and a sense of adventure; and you're ready for a great stay in Roanoke. NO SMOKING.
The Space:
The property is a 2 story building. Upper Loft is on the 2nd floor (2 story walk up with no elevator). Listed nightly base price is for up to 2 adult guests. For additional guests there is a $15 per night per guest charge up to max of 6 adult guests. List all guests when you book and update guest numbers if they change. NO HOUSE PARTIES OR EVENTS. QUIET TIME AT 10 PM. Please be respectful of guests that may be downstairs as well as the neighbors that live in the residential building in the rear and do not make loud noises after 10 PM.
Each bedroom has its own LED TV and there is a large LED TV in the family room. You can stream Netflix, HBO, HULU, Amazon and more (please note we do not provide streaming accounts, you will be required to use your own).
Treat the place as if it were your own and enjoy!
We offer basics like ground coffee from a local coffee shop and an electric drip coffee maker and coffee filters; salt and pepper and cooking oil.
Pets are allowed but there is a pet fee which can vary based on seasonality. Please note to take your dog off of our property for it to relieve itself. There is a dog walk greenway area next to Campbell Garage with a stand with Mutt Mitts and a trash can for poop bags.
NO Smoking of of any substances or e-Cigarettes Allowed anywhere on the property. $250.00 PENALTY FEE CHARGED FOR SMOKING
Check in 3 pm - 11pm. Check out 11 AM. If we can accommodate requests for early check-in or late check-out we will try to do so but there will be $30.00 fee .
We require advance notice of early check in or late check out requests.
Our ability to accept those depends on our bookings and housekeepers schedule.
Check out on or before 11 AM. Our housekeeper enters the property at 11 AM to start the check out clean.

The Neighborhood:
Located in Roanoke's up and coming "West End" neighborhood. This area was once a light manufacturing and warehouse center, with automotive showrooms and railroad facilities. But over the past 20 years it has been transformed into an exciting area to live, work and play. Great restaurants, breweries, and entertainment venues are all within walking distance or a short Uber or Lyft ride away.
Getting Around:
You can walk most anywhere in downtown Roanoke from here. The space is in the West End neighborhood of downtown which is only a half mile from Center in the Square or the Market Building in central downtown (an 11 minute walk or a 5 minute or so drive) . If you want to venture out further, a short Uber ride will get you there. Electric scooters (Lime, Bird, etc) are plentiful in downtown also! It's only a 15 minute drive to Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport.
Other Things to Note:
Free parking is all on city streets and subject to daily restrictions. There are pay to park options in a Premier Parking surface parking lot across the street on Salem Ave or in near by Campbell Parking garage ($8.00 max per day).

The space was beautiful and very clean. The location was perfect and walkable to downtown. We enjoyed the local breweries right down the street as well! The front bedroom can be a little loud at night, we knew that in advance from other reviews so we put our light sleeper friend in the back bedroom. The only tiny downfall was that we didn’t have coffee or filters as stated and we didn’t check prior to going to bed our first night. As a big time coffee crew we would’ve come prepared had we known that wasn’t actually going to be stocked. Overall 10/10 experience! Roanoke was a wonderful little city and the VRBO was perfect.

The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. There was plenty of room for people to spread out and was in a good location to breweries, restaurants, and attractions. The coffee and cream they provided was a nice treat. The only disappointment was the apartment is right next door to a bar. At night (especially on Friday and Saturday) people come outside to smoke right under your window. You can’t have the window open or smoke will fill your room and it was so loud there was no way you could sleep until after about 12:30 when the bar closed and people went home. I can tolerate noise really well but this was crazy. Felt like the bar was hanging out in my bedroom. Wish I knew ahead of time. Other than that, or if you are not using that bedroom, the apartment was great.
