Luxury Townhome Minutes From DC

This home is beautiful! The beds were comfortable. The location is convenient to DC. There is an enclosed garage that would fit most cars. I have mid size SUV. A full size might be more difficult. The owner is very responsive. The master suite is amazing spa like.

Amazing stay, would definitely recommend to anyone!

Our stay in Alexandria was good. But not great. The house was very clean and modern and decorated nicely and the master bathroom was awesome. All which we appreciated. We had everything we needed while staying here. The few minor downsides were #1 that the furniture looked neat, but it was all very hard and not comfortable. Couldn’t find a comfy spot to sit anywhere really. #2 There was a lot of leftover opened food and things in the fridge and even in closets left by either the owners or previous renters, also used bar soap, kinda felt creepy. #3 The pillows were very flat and made sleeping difficult. A few other things to note that might be helpful is that there are 4 flights of stairs just to warn others that might not realize that have mobility issues. The garage was a trick to park a minivan in, it took teamwork because the garage parking spot is very narrow and small. The day of check in we asked for checkin info we messaged the owner it took about 5-6 hrs on average to respond; our check out instructions came in the middle of the night after I’d already looked for them and went to bed so we almost missed them the next morning and had to at the last minute go strip beds and stuff before leaving. It would have been helpful to have those instructions earlier so we could prepare and plan. All in all it was a good stay and we’d still recommend the place. Just better communication and getting rid of old food and used bar soap and stuff like that would make it excellent.

Our stay at Kal's place was just fine. The house was very clean; however, the carpets and linens were stained. The door to the guest bathroom on the 3rd level was broken, so you had to pick it up and move it to close it, and it would not close all the way, due to it not being on a track. There was no garage door opener, which meant you had to pull up to the garage, get out, walk around to the front door, unlock the front door, then go through the garage, open the garage door, then pull your car in to the garage. The sliding door to the balcony on the 2nd floor in the dining area was unlocked upon arrival. There were used loofahs and toiletries in both bathrooms. Sometime during the last night, the vent cover in the 3rd-floor guest bedroom fell open. If all of these things were fixed, I would recommend staying here. I would also recommend reading reviews on other platforms, as they were more accurate to our experience.
