Located just 12 miles from Breckenridge and only 5 miles from downtown Alma, you’ll enjoy easy access to world-class skiing, hiking, rafting, fishing, and Colorado’s famous 14ers while still feeling tucked away in nature.

Security camera
For the safety and security of our guests and property, a Ring camera is installed at the exterior front entry overlooking the parking area. The camera is used only to monitor arrivals, departures and to verify the number of guests (and occasionally wildlife). There are no interior cameras; your privacy is always respected.
Winter access
During winter months (approximately November through April/May), a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle is essential to safely access the property and navigate mountain roads.

Absolutely loved our stay here - we got married at the house and went out for a scenic photoshoot in the local area. The house had pretty much everything we could have wanted. We absolutely loved the house and will definitely be back! Do note the elevation is 11,000ft so prepare for altitude sickness!

Fantastic property and space for extended family gathering! On site we saw a bear, a fox, and lots of chipmunks and birds. We even got to "rescue" a stunned bird we found on the deck and placed carefully in a tree. They've thought of about everything with blankets to cover up with when sitting on the deck at night enjoying the propane gas fire table while making s'mores with their long "forks," tons of games and puzzles, plenty of dishes/kitchen appliances, a large hot tub, a drier to dry the towels we used, baby gate for the one set of steep stairs, high chair, "snack" chair for toddlers too big for the high chair and too little for their own chair, a couple pack-n-play style crib/playpens (though we used our own), and more. We had a marvelous time with our 4 adult children and grandchildren (aged 6 months, 16 months, 2 years, and 3 years). We sat all 13 of us (including children) around the large dining table. We enjoyed a short drive over to the Montgomery Reservoir (no boats or swimming) where we all enjoyed throwing rocks in the water and hiking around an abandoned old mill and near a stream that flowed into the reservoir. The heavily treed property was quiet, and one of my sons set up a hammock he had brought. We parked 4 cars, and there was room for more. It is at elevation, so drink lots of water, as several in our group had initial trouble adjusting. We would absolutely stay again at this delightful find!

I had an incredible time with a dozen friends here, grilling and hanging out in the hot tub. Everything was clean and very well furnished.
