About this house rental
Vacation home in a stunning, secluded lakeside location—pure nature, tranquility, and relaxation
Enjoy absolute peace and privacy on an approximately 8,500 m² property in an idyllic, secluded setting.
The vacation home is located in the Liden region, about 50 km northwest of Sundsvall. You’ll reach the property—nestled in the beautiful Swedish countryside—via a long private road. Just about 300 meters from the house is a large lake that’s perfect for swimming, fishing, and relaxing.
The nearest neighbor is about 500 meters away. In total, there are only two houses in the immediate vicinity—ideal conditions for a relaxing vacation in a peaceful setting.
Amenities
The house offers approximately 80 m² of living space and can accommodate up to 4 people. All sleeping areas are equipped with comfortable box-spring beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
Amenities include:
* Modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher
* Cozy living room
* TV (can be used with your own Fire TV Stick)
* DVD player and a selection of DVDs
* Air conditioning
* Wood-burning stove
* Shower and toilet on the first floor
Please note that you must bring your own bed linens and towels.
Location and Surroundings
The surrounding area captivates with its unique natural landscape. The house is surrounded by forests, with a small stream and an idyllic pond flowing behind the property. The tranquility and unspoiled nature make this place a perfect retreat from everyday life.
Shopping options can be found in the nearest town, about 11 km away. The city of Sundsvall, with its numerous shops, restaurants, and recreational activities, is approximately 50 km away.
A boat is not available.
Special nature experience
During Midsummer, you can experience Scandinavia’s fascinating white nights. For several weeks, the sun barely sets, if at all. Even during the rest of the summer, the nights remain exceptionally short.
Starting in September, the first Northern Lights can already be observed if conditions are right. By the end of October, the Swedish winter finally sets in and transforms the landscape into a stunning winter scene.

* Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
* Dogs are not allowed on sofas or beds.
* Since we use the house ourselves regularly, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house.
You must bring your own bedding.
* Double bed:
* Duvet: 135 × 200 cm (2x)
* Pillow: 80 × 80 cm (2x)
* Fitted sheet: 200 × 200 cm
* The two additional beds (each):
* Duvet: 135 × 200 cm
* Pillows: 80 × 80 cm
* Bed sheets: 90 × 200 cm
You must also bring your own towels.
