Property was very nice. The weekend was rainy which cause the yard to turn into a bit of a swamp. The inside was beautiful and fit 5 of us very well. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Hot tub was clean and the outdoor shower made washing hot tub chemicals and camp fire smoke out of hair very convenient.

Perfect for those traveling with a small group. The view from the front porch was very nice, other than 1 small home across the street no other buildings in your field of view, just a green field and trees on a mountain ridge. The only real problem was the hot tub didn’t work. The owners sent a technician out quickly but unfortunately the part required would take several days to arrive so the whole week we had no hot tub. Otherwise I would’ve given everything 5 stars. I asked for a partial refund and the owner did give me what I asked for. They were very quick to respond to any questions I asked them. No problems with any other appliances. I would note that the view from the driveway of the property beside the house is not so nice-looks like several old metal airplane hangers but you can’t see them when you’re on the front porch facing the nice view. Shower water pressure was great especially considering the mountainous area (can’t say the same for a place I stayed in Colorado) so that was unexpectedly nice. The location was private enough to enjoy the quiet but also 15 minutes from places like Walmart when you need to buy groceries or other supplies. Close to many attractions without having to drive too far like Muddy Creek Falls, Savage River area was beautiful and filled with babbling brooks for miles. Note that if you’re not used to hard water you’ll want to buy bottled water especially for making tea and coffee. We had a good time and would stay again.
