A Baltic Sea vacation at the historic, beautifully restored “Altes Gutshaus” on Rügen. Duplex apartments spanning two levels, each accommodating 3–5 guests, feature their own covered (!) terrace—complete with garden furniture, of course. You’ll feel right at home in the very large estate garden, which also includes a playground. Next to the “Altes Gutshaus” lies the picturesque estate park with ancient trees, designed as a sort of offshoot of the famous park at the nearby princely residence in Putbus.
On the first floor, the vacation home features a living room with an open kitchen and a guest restroom next to the entryway. The staircase leads up to the two bedrooms and the well-equipped bathroom with a shower and washing machine. One bedroom has a double bed. The other bedroom can be furnished with either a new sofa bed for 1 or 2 people.
From your vacation home, you can explore the Zudar Peninsula by car or bike, visiting the beaches of Palmer Ort, the “Gelbes Ufer” cliffs, or cycling along the “Rügenrundtour” trail network. Coastal hikes and leisurely swimming on the uncrowded beaches of the Zudar Peninsula. Day trips to the white royal seat of Putbus. The “must-see” for any extended vacation on Rügen is, of course, the chalk cliffs near Sassnitz and Arkona, the “North Cape of Rügen.” And in just half an hour by car, you can reach the beautiful old tree-lined avenues of the Baltic Sea resorts of Binz, Sellin, or Göhren—and return in the evening from the hustle and bustle there to your oasis of relaxation at the “Altes Gutshaus.”
