About this house rental
This thoughtfully restored 1895 Victorian home is located in the Historic Washburne district. Formerly operated as the Pony House Inn, it's close to restaurants, pubs, shopping and scenic hiking/biking trails. If you opt to bus, it's a short walk to the bus station and easy ride to U of O, RiverBend PeaceHealth Hospital, etc.
Each of the four interior bedroom suites includes a private bathroom with shower, small fridge, microwave & TV, with access to the well-stocked main kitchen, butler's pantry, laundry room, living room, dining room, covered patios, and gardens. Each suite has its own independently controlled heating & AC for personalized comfort. Wi-Fi is 2 gigs fiber.
The home was completely remodeled in 2016 with new plumbing, electrical, and foundation updates while preserving the integrity of a historic home. Sound-proofing insulation was also added to the walls and floors, making for a very quiet home. The mattresses are all memory foam and guests say they're quite comfy.
For those with mobility issues: There is a flight of steps to get to the three upstairs bedroom suites (suites 2, 3, and 4). Suite 1 is on the main level. There are a few steps to get through the main front entrance of the home, but there is a ramp through the back entrance that doesn't have stairs and can be used as an alternate entry point.
Pets: If you are traveling with a pet, please provide me a description of the pet. I'm an animal lover and welcome fur friends, but due to insurance restrictions, certain dog breeds are not acceptable. I also want to ensure you will not be leaving your dog unattended in a room while you're out. During your stay, just give me a call if you have any questions or issues. I'm only a couple miles away.
Note, this home has a large garden with various fruit trees, herbs, and other plant life. For the safety of your pets, I do not use herbicides/pesticides. Thus, an occasional wandering spider or other bug may occasionally enter the home despite routine cleaning. I do not offer refunds if you happen to see a spider or bug inside or outside, so if this is a concern to you, please do not book my home.

The home, including additional bedroom, was great for our group of 7 ladies. Everyone had their own bed, plus plenty of bathrooms. The common areas worked well for group meals and hanging out. The yard is cute. Communication with Linda was easy and everything went smoothly. Our group all said they'd stay here again.

This is the most equipped house we’ve rented. I love the coffee bar and all the extras. The host, Linda was attentive and helpful. The back yard is gorgeous, fenced in and our pup loved it out there. Everything was perfect! It was a perfect house for a family reunion.

We had a wonderful stay at Linda's home. It was well stocked with everything we needed for 7 adults of all age ranges. Communication with Linda was fantastic - any questions we had were answered promptly and we felt well taken care of. Would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to the Springfield area, and look forward to staying here again if we're ever back in town.
