Yes — the hotel requires a credit or debit card on file for the security deposit and any incidental charges, such as room service. A hold of $100 per night, up to a maximum of $500, will be placed on the card at check-in. This hold is released after check-out, provided there are no additional charges. It was an AMAZING stay! The view from our 50th floor balcony was outstanding and ever-changing with the lights of the Vegas Strip before us. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed as was the bed and its linens. Oh, and the bathroom had a 'rainfall shower', something I'd always wanted to try. The room had everything we needed. Marble floor, walls & large tub made us feel like royalty. We dined one evening at A.Y.C.E. buffet in the hotel, and it was SO delicious. I even tried foods I'd not had before and everything was just awesome. The indoor staff and bellhops who retrieved our car when we needed it treated us like gold. They are a great group of people and we appreciated each and every one of them. I even left the curtains open at night and made the Vegas Strip our "night light." What a wonderful stay we had, and are making plans to return again, sometime in the future. Our Palms Place stay will give us wonderful memories for many years to come. We highly recommend this place to everyone. Been here yet? No? You gotta give it a try!

The view was the best part of the place. They did accommodate us with an earlier checkin, but that was more guest services who worked that out as the owner failed to compact them with the request after saying they would. Bedding was not clean. The sink drained slow and leaked at the handle onto the counter every time it was used. The shower was dirty as well. We contacted the VRBO host about a couple of these issues initially, but never received a response, so we just didn’t bother after that. I can’t recommend this particular unit, but there are many units in this building so definitely don’t hesitate to stay in a unit in The Palms Place. This host just isn’t who you want to stay with. The Palms place does not provide VRBO support for the unit itself, unless you pay an extra fee, as the host/owner is supposed to be your primary contact. The Palms Place guest services, valet, and security were all great. Again, the host and unit were the issue, not The Palms Place specifically. 2 stars because of the view.
