This clean and well-kept three-bedroom, one-bath 1950’s cottage sits adjacent to the Cameron-McCauley Historic District toward the west end of Franklin Street in a small but lively city neighborhood. As with many homes of its age, you'll notice some cosmetic signs of wear, but we take great pride in keeping it clean, comfortable, and well maintained!
You have everything you need! Along with area attractions you’ll find a bustling local population including residents and UNC students coming and going from classes. Two bike paths cross directly into the neighborhood, so bring your bike or simply enjoy them on foot.
Chapel Hill is nicknamed, “Southern Part of Heaven''. It is home to the UNC Chapel Hill Tar Heels, the first state university, established in 1793. We hope you enjoy the updates we’ve made. Please make yourself at home!

This was a perfect location for our visit to Chapel Hill. Easy to get to everywhere we needed to go. Quiet neighborhood tucked behind Main Street. Air conditioning kept it comfortable but the added window units were just proof the hosts cared about our comfort. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room for our family. We didn't cook but kitchen was well stocked. Appreciated the added coffee and snacks! Hosts were quick to respond to all of our messages. We did not need them during our stay but felt they would have been readily available if needed. 5stars!

The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had beforehand and during our stay. It was the perfect size for five people. The location is great, we were able to walk to anywhere we wanted to eat or for entertainment. There was a farmers market in the middle of the week that we were able to walk to. I would not hesitate to stay at this house again.

Location is great and everything about the property was fine. But I have three complaints.First, we brought our dog but until you see the notebook in the house, with the house rules, we were unaware that the owners expected our dog to be crated if she was to be left alone. Without explicit mention on the web page, how is anyone supposed to know that they need to bring a dog crate? Pretty sure that rule is unenforceable.Second, the house notebook also states that absolutely no guests are allowed. I can understand no parties but no guests at all? So friends cannot visit? Again, this is something listed in the house notebook but no mention of this rule anywhere. Pretty sure that this is also unenforceable.Finally, the notebook includes dire warnings about being kicked out if motion sensors discover an unattended dog or if a sound meter detects volumes above some decibel level. Not creepy at all.
