About this cottage rental
Air-conditioned stone cottage for 5 people, located in a peaceful, enclosed estate offering shared spaces including a swimming pool, gardens, and a recreational area.
Perfect for visiting Niort, the Marais Poitevin, the Futuroscope, La Rochelle, and the Île de Ré.
Close to wedding venues such as La Gravette or Le Griffier.
A quiet setting for business trips, just minutes from Niort.
On the ground floor of this former wine cellar, now transformed into a comfortable cottage, you’ll find a living and dining area with a flat-screen TV, as well as an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen (Senseo coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, etc.).
A BZ sofa bed provides additional sleeping space for two people.
A third separate toilet, complementing those upstairs, also includes a washing machine.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with its own private shower room and toilet:
The first bedroom features a king-size bed (160x190).
The second bedroom has a double bed (140x190) and a single bunk bed (90x190), ideal for a family.
Outside, you’ll enjoy a small private courtyard with a table, chairs, and a barbecue.

La Guigneraie Estate consists of four independent 18th-century cottages.

The recreational area is equipped with various facilities and games for both children and adults.

Charente Maritime offers a beautiful part of the French countryside and Cottage le Magasin provided a most relaxing and comfortable stay. The hosts Xavier and Corrine were most attentive to our family's needs. They welcomed us, gave us a tour, and found the perfect balance of being available and yet providing us with our own space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The property is set in picturesque gardens with ample facilities - pool, children's play area, outside dining area, vegetable patch, herb garden etc. Parking is easy and the local Intermarche is a convenient 5 minute drive away. We loved our time here and already plan to return next year (l'annee procaine - Xavier 😉).
