The street outside is a hub of activity, with the vibrant hum of city life providing an authentic urban soundtrack. From the early hours of the morning to the late night, expect a lively atmosphere that truly captures the spirit of the city.
Navigate the city’s charm effortlessly from our Northeast D.C. abode! Jump on nearby public transit for a quick ride to iconic attractions or use rideshare services for convenience. As an added perk, relish the freedom of one included parking space, making your exploration stress-free. Enjoy the flexibility to roam the city at your own pace and return to the comfort of your urban retreat with ease.
* We kindly request your cooperation in observing quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
*Guests are welcome to utilize one designated on-site parking space located at the rear of the house on the parking pad. Should you need additional parking, there are conveniently accessible options on nearby streets.
*For the best experience, kindly notify us in advance if you require an early check-in or late check-outs. This helps us ensure a smooth arrival process and allows our dedicated housekeepers ample time to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the space between stays. Unfortunately, some early check-ins or late check-outs may not be accommodated and for this we apologize.
*While we truly appreciate the love for animals, please be aware that certain breeds, including Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Mastiffs, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Wolf Hybrid, are restricted. Additionally, we kindly request that pets larger than 50 lbs/22.7 kg not be brought on the premises.
* Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring any service or emotional support animals.
*Unfortunately, due to severe allergies, we are unable to host guests with cats (even service animals or ESA cats).
*All pets must be firmly secured by a leash at all times.
*Please clean up after your dog during walks. Your cooperation helps keep our surroundings clean and pleasant for everyone.
*For the comfort and health of all our guests, including those with allergies and asthma, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Any evidence of smoking (including odors or residue) will result in a $300 smoking fee to cover the cost of additional cleaning.
*Parties, gatherings, or events of any kind are strictly prohibited to ensure the comfort of our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment for everyone. Unauthorized gatherings may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and additional fees. This property was very clean, and comfortable. The host was very responsive to any questions. We had no issues and would choose to stay here again. The coffee and basket of snacks was a wonderful surprise! I give this a 5 star rating.

It was great! It was just what we needed. For our trip exploring DC, it gave us everything we needed because it was just a short walk from multiple bus stops, and the included parking meant we did not have to worry about where to leave our car. Everything was clean, tidy, and seemed to be newly renovated. It felt safe and had all the essentials of living on hand as well. The bed was very comfortable for us both, and we slept well.We would change the listing a bit to highlight the difficulty of access, though. Although "attic" suggests stairs, these stairs are particularly numerous, steep, and very narrow. Anyone with a significant mobility issue or older guests would have a lot of trouble. We are both young and strong, and we had some trouble carrying our stuff up the narrow stairways. If you are okay with narrow stairs, it is a great place to be. The host is super responsive and helped us out with an issue we had at almost 10:00pm.

The parking situation is understated in the property description. While it is free and on the property, it is not drivable for a low clearance vehicle. It is also a very tight fit for two vehicles especially if one is a standard truck. The backyard was a big disappointment until the lawn care company came while we were there.
