Located on the North end of Vallecito reservoir , you are only a short drive from multiple trailheads that can lead you into the Weminuche wilderness as well as some fantastic local restaurants. The creek front deck allows you to sit back next to the Vallecito creek in the middle of the summer while the sun falls behind the breathtaking mountain landscape. If barbequing is more your thing we have supplied a propane BBQ grill for you to enjoy in total comfort. Whether you are the relaxing type of person who stays in to enjoy the tranquility of this property by watching your favorite shows on the state of the art smart TV with strong WIFI, or the adventurer type who wants to be one with nature, we've got something for you. We are happy to help with horseback riding, guided fishing trips, help you plan an adventure into the wilderness or riding the narrow gauge railroad train from Durango to Silverton.

This was a perfect getaway for my partner and I! I think we spent the majority of our stay out on the deck by the river. The owner was also very responsive when we had questions during the booking process. Thank you for the lovely weekend! We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property with our two young children and another family. The views of the river and stars at night were amazing, and the cabin itself is spacious and clean. I recommend it and hope to be back!
