The entrance to the ground-floor apartment “Mahlstube” features the historically accurate reconstruction of the historic mill’s original entrance door. In the entryway, guests are greeted by historic tiles from the manufacturer Villeroy & Boch, dating back to 1898. This apartment is located where the milling equipment and mill machinery used to be. The apartment has a south-west-facing terrace with a direct view of the adjacent Biber River and the petting zoo. Soundproof windows with insect screen roller shades are part of this apartment’s high-quality amenities. In the bathroom, our guests will find a spacious, walk-in shower. The restroom is located in a separate room. In the living/dining area, the Mahlstube features a functional and very well-equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances. Upon request, guests can borrow a raclette set, fondue set, or sandwich maker from the mill office. High chairs for children can be reserved in advance.
The 14 vacation apartments, ranging from 46 to 78 m², are all furnished in an upscale, modern country-style with fully equipped kitchens. Spacious sun terraces or balconies and outdoor seating areas facing southwest round out the cozy atmosphere!

The large dining table, which seats 12, is the focal point for meals, games, and socializing. And when the wood-burning stove radiates cozy warmth, your vacation is truly perfect!
The new Mühlen-Alm lounge offers space for family gatherings, groups of friends, celebrations, and cozy get-togethers for up to 50 people!
There’s plenty to discover on our grounds. Playgrounds for jumping, climbing, and swinging; the Ghost Cave; a water playground; and the stream right on the property, which offers a refreshing dip on hot days.
Next door, on the large pasture, you’ll find the animal enclosures, a small soccer field, a campfire site, and a sandbox.
When the weather is bad, the play barn—with its large slide and plenty of play options—offers a dry place to run around.
Our daily highlight is the big tour with animal feeding! Everyone is invited to join in! Many children look forward to feeding and petting the animals every day between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. And some parents look forward to a relaxed breakfast or some quiet time with a book at the same time!
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
