The Space:
Located in Alma, Colorado - 30 minutes from Breckenridge. Cozy up by the fireplace after a day of skiing or snowboarding. Private fishing pond right out your front door. Deer and moose come to graze on the wild flowers in the fall and stroll through the yard year round! Reel Mountain Getaway has a hot tub, ping pong table, jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, office area, new living room furniture, and WiFi! This property is a secluded three bedroom (one is a loft), two baths, with Roku TVs, washer/dryer, games, books, and a full kitchen with stove/oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans and more. Patio area has a gas grill, hot tub, outdoor dining, and lounge chairs. When the pond is not frozen, take the canoe or your paddle board out on the water and enjoy the mountain views surrounding this mountain home! The pond is stocked with rainbow trout. The back yard provides the perfect terrain to build your own sled track or several tracks! Sleds are typically available for guest use.

The house is decorated for the holidays (Christmas) from Thanksgiving to mid January, so guests can experience the season even if they are away from home!

Please only catch and release at the pond. Also the home is on pretty flat roads at the bottom of the valley not that far from the highway but for winter travel anywhere in the area the county requires winter tires or chains and we recommend AWD or 4WD.

Our family came together from three different states to gather in this wonderful home! The pond is literally at your doorstep and we spent hours fishing, canoeing and just sitting in chairs catching up by the pond. The house itself was well stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal, grill out and the hot tub was great for the cooler nights! It was a fantastic getaway. We loved our stay!

We stayed over 2 weeks and enjoyed the house immensely. The layout made it feel comfortable with a good size kitchen and living room. The beds were comfortable. You need all wheel/4 wheel drive to get there. We were in a Jeep and had no issues. 30 minutes over the pass to Beaver Run Peak 9 parking lot.

We loved staying here and will book it again in the future. When a moose saunters up for a drink at the pond it is really quite amazing.

We had a great stay at the Reel Mountain Getaway. Close enough to town to enjoy but far enough away to feel like a mountain get away. The house was just as described and located feet from a stocked trout pond that my kids loved. So fun to catch the big fish and put them back for someone else to enjoy. The host even checked in via message a few times to make sure we were all set. We would surely stay there again!!
