This spectacular, 4 bedroom 4 1/2 bathroom home sits on the salt-water marsh in beautiful Cape Fear Station. From this home you can enjoy the amazing beauty of the marsh and all the activities the marsh has to offer - dock for fishing, crabbing, boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding. You are also just a two minute, breezy golf cart ride away from the most desirable beach on the island -- East Beach.
This beautiful home has recently been redesigned and professionally decorated by Beth Keim, owner and designer at Lucy and Company, an interior design firm, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her work has been featured in several magazines, including Better Homes and Garden and Elle Decor. This 2,700+ square foot home features a reverse floor plan with kitchen, dining, living and master suite upstairs. It comfortably sleeps 5 adults and up to 7 children. The large, elegant master bedroom has a king size bed and a separate sitting room with glass, french doors (which can make a cozy and quiet "nursery" to setup a pack n' play for families traveling with babies). Downstairs, bedroom two includes a queen size bed and the best view of the marsh! Bedroom three features a cozy bay window and day bed with trundle; this room can also make for a great "overflow" playroom/TV room for kids to play downstairs, while adults play upstairs. Bedroom four is a very large kids room, with a bunk bed and three day beds (2 with a trundle), allowing plenty of space for up to 7 children! It also has a large bathroom with an oversize bathtub/shower and double sinks. Each room has its own bathroom, private deck overlooking the marsh, flat-screen TV, and ample closet/storage space!
On the second level of the home, you'll find vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan and lots of large windows showcasing the outstanding views of the gorgeous marsh. The upstairs and downstairs outdoor decks offer the perfect spots to watch the sunset or to look out at your family on the 500 ft. dock. The kitchen is fully stocked and features all stainless steel appliances. Enjoy the gorgeous dining room with a large table to accommodate the whole family! The living room is beautifully decorated with ample sitting and includes a cozy fireplace to enjoy in the off-season.
Available with this beach house rental is a Lifestyle membership to Bald Head Island Club with golf access at an extra fee paid to BHI Club directly. Shoals Club Membership is also available for a separate cost. **If you are looking to golf, a Sports or Golf membership to BHI club is required.** Any vacationer looking to golf will want to stay here as not all homes on the island have access to golf privileges. High-speed wireless internet is also included.
A 6-passenger and 4-passenger golf cart are provided for your use, along with several bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and a new outdoor stainless steel Weber grill. A pack-n-play, high chair, booster seat, and step-stools in the bathrooms are also provided to make traveling with babies and children a little easier. We do not maintain or advertise bicycles at the home, you may rent bikes at Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge on the Island. Taxes are not included, and are an additional 12.75%

We had a great experience at Mx3. Space is super clean and well equipped. We had a total of 5 adults and 3 young kids and the space was perfect - the little room of the master (with pack n play provided) was ideal for our littlest dude. We have stayed in south beach with previous stays and LOVED this spot in the marsh - super quick drive to east beach/Shoals and the conservancy.we arrived just after a major storm with a lot of flooding and Rod and Audrey were amazing with communication - they even offered to leave the golf carts at the ferry because the tram was out of commission. Wonderful stay all around. The only downside I’d say was the 6 passenger golf cart would randomly turn off while driving - would turn back on but clearly not working properly!

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha photographs well! The outdoor living spaces are much smaller in person and the house is 8' from the neighbors. We did not love Keepers Landing tho enjoyed fishing in the marsh. The Golf Carts are old, the 4-passenger is not road safe. There are not bikes as noted on the website. The house is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. The stairs are VERY steep and the house is dark. Close to beautiful East Beach but quite a trek to the market and marina.
