Nieuwe Villa in het bos

Relax and unwind completely in this beautiful new forest villa in the Drents-Friese Wold. As you sit by the wood-burning stove, you can watch the squirrels running through the garden. The villa was built in 2023 and has been available for rent since February 2024. In the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a cooking island, two combi-ovens, and various appliances, you can cook and bake to your heart’s content.

The three bedrooms are furnished with comfortable box-spring beds. The linens package includes bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen linens. The beds are made for you upon arrival.

The surrounding Drents-Friese Wold is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands and has been designated a Natura 2000 site. Step outside and enjoy the beautiful biking and hiking trails through the woods and heathland. Nearby, there’s a new mountain bike trail for beginners. In the summer, you can swim in the beautiful Blauwe Meer or the Canadameer.

Be sure to visit the Koloniën van Weldadigheid (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The Prison Museum in Veenhuizen, with the adjacent Maallust brewery, is a must-see.
