An actual used grain silo converted to a peaceful countryside, one-bedroom cottage. Equipped with full bathroom, walk in shower, and essentials such as refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot, this tucked away oasis is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway.

The Huckleberry Finn was perfect size for us as it was just 2 of us. Beds were comfortable and place was cleanish! There is a very bad pigeon infestation above the front door so when you walked in or out you have to duck as the birds will fly out. You will be awaken by the birds at early sun rise with them walking on top of the metal roof. The place is extremely dark at night as the light above the front door did not work properly and the entrance is impossible to see at night.

This place was awesome! Got an early wake up call from the birds on the roof. But that's part of the charm in the country area. Everything was clean and just perfect for a quick honeymoon get away.

I mentioned to the owner that I wondered what my farming ancestors would think about me sleeping in a grain silo. He said he thought they would think it was cool and he was absolutely right! Unique accomodation with comfy bed, charming decor and neat as a pin. Major bonus of adorable prairie dog watching right outside your door. Highly recommend!
