About this cottage rental
The Lilly pad is a small, 1,000 Sq Ft family friendly cottage located on the east shore of gorgeous sandy bottom- 4400-acre Brevort Lake. Upon entering the cottage you are welcomed by a freshly renovated, light and airy atmosphere. Beginning from the living room and following through to the western side of the home you'll find yourself in a fully equipped kitchen and dining area overlooking Brevort Lake. You will be captivated by the gorgeous lake views 'round the clock. Through the Eastern side of the home you'll find the primary bedroom & attached 1.5 bath on one side of the hall- adjacent from the primary is bedroom #2 which boasts a full size bed and a set of bunk beds. The living room offers a full-size pull-out couch, and a large full bath equipped with a handicap-accessible shower, and washer/dryer. Relax outside around a bon fire overlooking the glistening lake and trailing loons.

We will return! This place was just what we needed. We visit family down the road and this was perfect in every way. It was immaculate and had everything we needed, plus some! It was so clean, which is very important. I stay in rentals all the time and never ever have I had the amount of kitchen supplies and bath TOWELs that we had here. Its always something we struggle with but have accepted it's just how it is....not here! They spoiled us! Our only issue was the yard could of used mowing before we arrived since it was holiday weekend we spent alot of time in yard and it was pretty tall, but this was the smallest of our concerns. Look forward to another trip

We rented this little lakefront cottage for a weekend getaway to Mackinac Island for a present for my mom. When we checked in, we noticed that the beds were kind of thrown together. I even made a comment to my family that it looked like a 10-year-old made them. Under the kitchen table had not been cleaned. There was garbage and plastic in the outdoor fire pit. I immediately took pictures and send it to the property manager. When I went to go to bed that night, there was no sheet on my bed and the top sheet was dirty (even though there was a card on the bed with a chocolate saying it was freshly made). I had to go through all the closets to find an extra set of sheet. Luckily there was extra sheets in the bathroom. Making a bed is not what I wanted to do 11 o’clock at night. I took pictures of everything and sent it to the property manager the next morning. I also asked them and couple other questions about the property. They did not respond to any of my questions and only responded “ I am so sorry to see this. I will have a talk with my housekeeper!” There was also laundry in the wash machine when we got there of towels and mattress cover. I ended up putting those in the dryer. Not sure why this property was marked premier host? The lake view was beautiful though!
