Location is good, next to the beautiful Dolores River. Nice little path to get to town along the river bank rather than walking the street. Very friendly staff who kept me supplied with towels, etc. since we were there over a week. Liked that they had a nice place to do laundry.
You could take a nice shower, but my husband wanted a bath in the bathtub and there was no way to keep the water in the tub that we could find. He improvised and placed a plastic baggie over the drain and put a large cup filled with water on it to keep the water in.

The Outpost Motel is a bit dated...The room value and cleanliness assists in overlooking this. The WiFi is intermittent, and this affects the room TV streaming of ROKU. The toilet has you literally sitting on the floor. Hot water is best available at night for showers.

There was no breakfast. We like the deck on the river. Beds were very comfortable
