The apartment was quite nice and mostly clean and gives you kinda wow impression when you first get there. The views from the apartment are something else though - it's simply breathtaking. The location is good if you decide to go for a beach holiday and stay most of the time in the apartment because otherwise you spend a lot of money and time on taxi to get to the city (but to be fair it's expected because of the location). You are allowed to use the nearby private beach and the complex facilities so it is really perfect for a beach holiday and to spend time on the complex territory rather then to be in the city center. The staff were amazing and responsive. There is also a small (and to be honest overpriced) convenience store downstairs in the building however delivery works just fine (e.g., the Careem app).

The apartment is a bit worn out, and the more you live there, the more you notice it. Like stains on the furniture and walls/ceiling, small ants in the kitchen, etc. The stove did not work. We contacted the staff, who were quite responsive; however, the problem wasn’t fixed while we were there because it would have meant waiting two days for the handyman. We decided not to wait and asked them to fix it after we were gone. We also faced a problem with the door lock - it's like a keypad where you enter a code and the door opens. However, for us after a day or so it just stopped working. We contacted the staff again and for the rest of the stay we just used a normal key - so no big deal really. A side note: while the location is good if you want a beach vacation, it’s better to book a place closer to the city center or even Dubai Marina than the Palm if you're planning to see attractions, because when you need to get to the city center or see some attractions, you spend quite a bit of money on taxis and also time in traffic jams (in most cases when we went out, we were stuck in traffic).
