Villa Il Carrubo - Amalfi Coast

This is an amazing location a little out from the local town, which means at night you are able to see the night lights. Access down to the ocean was lovely, nice cold plunge. Each room has a magic view and the addition of the ladies that come each day to tidy, do washing and ironing was great. We had the amazing chef Vin come in to prepare us an amazing breakfast, absolutely delicious and such a treat! Is a must have… The kind owner came by on the last day to meet us and drop off a local birthday cake for me. Really wonderful experience and thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime 😍🙌

Need to arrange taxi each time you go out, minimum spend Euro 30. Original driver has difficulty finding location even with map.

We had a beautiful stay at the Villa. The accommodations were amazing and we were blessed to have stayed there. The staff and the owner were warm and welcoming. They attended to all our needs. We hope to stay there again. A slice of heaven on earth..

The villa is absolutely beautiful. It's very spacious (to put it mildly) and in a stunning location. Absolutely immaculate and staff came in to clean every day. Alfonso the owner is a lovely host and his staff are also very helpful.

There are lots of steps so anyone with mobility issues will struggle. The villa is in a great spot but between two villages. It is away from the main road but that road is not great for walking on (especially at night). There is a bus service but it's a bit erratic. So be prepared to hang out at the villa (which is a tremendous place to do so) or drive.

Amazing property, right on the water with views of Vietri sul mare. Amazing sunrise over the mountains from your bedroom window. Cleaners arrived every morning and cleaned the house and dishes, would definitely stay here again.

Only thing that is a slightly bad is that it is a little bit difficult to walk back up to main road to take a bus to any of the towns close by. We booked taxis every day but wasn’t so bad.
