Traditional wood and stone Villa

Syros is wonderful, vibrant island. The house is in a Great area. It feels like real island living (not like Santorini/mykonos) Bus ride to beach from bus stop by ferry which is a good day out. The swimming area 9 mins walk is incredible. There are steps to climb up the location. Lovely little house Felt very comfortable Great roof top. Spiral staircase maybe tricky for older people or children We got a fantastic recommendation for a restaurant facing the harbour that the locals use. The food was fantastic. There’s a great Mexican/spanish bar with great cocktails (the owner gave us the restaurant recommendation) I would return tomorrow.

Αν και ήταν ψηλά δεν είχε θέα και το μπαλκόνι ήταν ανύπαρκτο.

Situation parfaite.

Escalier en colimaçon difficile.

Not too far from the Port - a steep 10 minute walk though! Big space and good terrace up on the roof! Late check-out (11am) which was helpful. Great bakery about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Beach is close by (15 minute walk).

Terrible directions given and when we rang, the manager (?) was quite rude and said 'who are you, we have 15 properties on our books.' Eventually we found the property with the key just left in the door. The main room is quite dark - the other rooms are nice and light upstairs. Very steep steps between each level. The kitchen was very basic and missing lots of items - did not have a kettle, or a coffee machine (that worked) or a bin.. The shower is a hand-held one so difficult to have a proper shower! Quite a noisy location.
