Magnifique studio La Rochelle vue mer

La proximité pour tout et la vue mer. Ça serait bien de mettre des jumelles pour observer la vue à l’horizon et voir le fort Boyard pour les futures visiteurs

_one of the cleanest accomodation we walked-in, in many years _stupendous views on the sea, horizon, islands etc. (when lying down or just seating, you feel like in a cruise cabin...without balcony but you just have to open the large windows...we recommand you move the student desk/table to be closer to the window) _plenty of shelves, hooks and space when you walk-in to dump your stuff and shopping etc. (it is NOT always the case at all elsewhere) _very rare welcome stock of toilet paper and coffee pods (only for 4.86 euros on local shop but a rare good gesture...no welcome tiny drinks in the fridge though) _...and very very hot water (so hosts not stingy there either). Beware though of the kitchen tap, almost scalding hot! _if you are worried about the bed as we were: it is actually very very comfy and noise-free _the sleeper against the wall has actually safe spaces for book, glasses, mobile etc. on the side against the wall (or just remove the mirror above and attach a long bag to serve as safe bed table) _the bed is comfy and not noisy when 'solicited' _the misleading ad does not mention a good thing: the micro wave does also normal oven; a very good and excellent surprise _the misleading ad does not mention another good thing: the quick washing machine is also a quick dryer _ we double stress that that studenty studio was very clean: no way it was cleaned by previous holidaymakers...for examples/details: no dust behind TV-set or above cupboards, extremely white&clean duvets (two available if cold but one is plenty enough...none of the usual suspect stains you come accross sometimes) _the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is of a famous luxurious brand(it is rare, hosts often chose cheaper versions) _other mini detail speaking volume about (past?

No wifi (we knew), no aircon(no need this time), no satellite TV(despite mentionS on ad) __the ad is (for us) massively misleading for us: as at least twice is mentionned international satellite TV which is a key choosing criteria for us as we don't have time to watch Tv and series&films outside holidays and my partner is English...so we very look forward for these times to have some evenings TV together after a good day of visits... but the TV service was actually just hardly basic free TNT (and not even all the free usual channels as some said "no signal"). Worst, on this occasion, the hosts just replied that there is "no satellite TV", in a very very sms matter-of-fact way (= without showing emotion or any apology)...despite being mentioned at least twice as we reminded them. As if it is a ridiculous criteria or just a mini detail. Having faced that problem before, I chose this time not to argue so not to waste any seconds of our precious holidays (in a previous case where the tv never worked , we never had apologies or commercial gesture or help from the platform). IF we had broken something or a promise, our card would be charged almost immediately: when hosts break a promise, there is no automated commercial gesture as it should (half a night would be the minimum) __ we mentioned there was no wine glasses (that, unlike TV, is a detail): but in almost 11 days, they did not think of bringing any; we quickly bought some right from the begining of our stay and left them as a gift to them...no mention so far. On this occasion, we found the "n'hésitez pas si besoin" signing each of the hosts' messages a little bit empty handed, "all talk and no action"?? (details: despite knowing almost 2 months in advance our exact hour of arrival and that it was our 1st time in La Rochelle: no time to meet us once or any infos&advices inside the studio...
