Paradise at Picnic Point - 3B/R

I love being able to look out at the river. It is also very handy to just be able to just cross the road with the grandkids for them to play on the sand. The private entrance and the use of an outside clothesline is an added bonus. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. Living area is a great size and the we had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The washing machine and dryer both work really well.

I have stayed at the property before, so I knew where the lock box was. The explanation on how to get the numbers to appear could be better though .....you have to swipe your hand over the screen for the numbers to appear. Only one rubbish bag was supplied for our 8 day stay. There wasn't enough coat hangers. I only had 6 in my room. There wasn't enough pegs and half of them were very old wooden ones. I left some of mine behind for future guests to use. It would have been nice if there was some laundry detergent provided. The quilts are too warm even in the middle of winter. It would have been nice to have the option of a light weight blanket in the cupboard.

Minor issues were dealt with quickly. Location is wonderful. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms, beautifully decorated. Would stay again.

Loved the extras like washing liquid, salt, soap etc. The rooms were great. The spa was fsntastic. Like a massage. We were very comfortable here and didnt want to leave.

The location was so close to the river and very family friendly. The apartment was a great size.
