Hasta La Vista Villa Amed

Everything about our stay was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They even offered to help me find petrol when there was a shortage in the area, which was such a kind gesture and really showed how much they care about their guests. The entire property was extremely clean and well maintained. The villa, swimming pool, and surrounding areas were all in great condition. The house smelled fresh and lovely inside, and the bed linen and towels were perfectly clean. One thing I really don't understand is some of the negative reviews on Booking.com. I was a little hesitant before booking because of them, but I decided to take a chance, and I'm so glad I did! My experience was completely different from what those reviews suggested. The location is also fantastic if you're looking for peace and quiet. It's a beautiful, relaxing place, away from the noise, yet both Amed and Tulamben are easily accessible within a short motorcycle ride of around 10–15 minutes. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of my stay. Everything was comfortable, clean, peaceful, and exactly what I needed during my holiday. I would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone considering staying here. If you're unsure because of the negative reviews, don't let them put you off. I'm really happy I chose this place, and I would definitely stay here again! A big thank you to the wonderful staff for making my stay so enjoyable!

The only minor thing worth mentioning is that the last 500 metres of the road leading to the villa are on a compacted sandy surface, so you just need to ride a little more slowly and carefully. However, this is absolutely not an issue if you know how to ride a motorcycle or scooter. I honestly don't understand why some previous guests made such a big deal out of it in their reviews. It's really nothing to worry about and definitely shouldn't discourage anyone from staying at this lovely place!
