2 huge pools, a great little snack bar that also serve English breakfast, alcohol & snacks all day. I would avoid the restaurant on the opposite side of the complex called restaurant algar or Albar or something similar, it’s ok but very plain. Everywhere was very clean, the apartment was SO spacious, 2 baloncies, view of the pool. Staff were very friendly, it’s only around €4 euros which is about £3 to get a uber to Alvôr centre, or use BOLT they’re also good.

The property is approx 15 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and shops and 20 minutes walk to the beach. There is a decent sized pool, although the deep end is 10m. The children’s pool area is tiny but very shallow and does the job. There’s a key fob entry for the pool but the fob provided with the apartment doesn’t work. There’s a drinks and snack bar close to the pool (directly under the apartment) it’s quite expensive and the food was only open 1 day out of 7! You have to go across the road to the sister complex if you wish to eat on site. The kitchen has all amenities, 1 main bathroom and 1 en-suite. There is a main balcony and a small one from one of the bedrooms. Bath and showers available, en-suite bath has jet spas but we didn’t try as they looked like they’ve had better days. Towels and bedding provided but not changed through the holiday. The bedrooms have blackout shutters and you hardly hear noise in the evening.
Not cleaned on arrival and the owner tried stating it had been until I sent a video of the state of the apartment, we had to leave and return 1.5 hours later and the cleaners were still there…they kindly left us all the unused opened food and snacks from the previous guests 🤮. The main bathroom has sewerage smell every morning and the toilet has a tap filter for the flush so can’t always use until cistern fills back up with 6 people this wasn’t always pleasant. There is only air conditioning in the living room and this does not filter through to the bedrooms, fans are provided but only one works and the bedrooms are very humid regardless of what we tried. If you iron your clothes away take your own as the one provided barely works and leaks water. There is no slip proof flooring or extractor fans in bathrooms so please be careful as the floors get really slippery. There is a safe in one of the wardrobes but we could not find the key and the agent was not helpful with locating it.

El apartamento está muy bien equipado, en la cocina hay de todo. La piscina del complejo está muy bien.
El sofá cama no es cómodo y la piscina cierra muy pronto, a las 19.00.
