Lovely stay, would recommend.

The house was lovely and very clean. I called the host to say we was running late for check it and he was very polite and understanding.

Only issue id say was the darts didn’t have tops that wasn’t broken so we didn’t get to use it, as darts don’t fly properly without the ends.

A nicely decorated house but lacking in cleanliness

A very nicely decorated property. Good location for Swansea. Really lovely bedding.

It wasn’t especially clean. When we arrived, there were building sacks all over the driveway, muck on the kitchen side and some weird gunk under the bathroom radiator, there was an eggy smell in the downstairs loo and kitchen. The washing machine was broken. The upstairs bath and sink wouldn’t drain properly, we had to remove the plugs in order to shower. Also, no tea or coffee, I’d expect a rental to have that even though the cupboards and freezer were filled with previous guests half used food.

Really quite spacious house, and decorated nicely, They really are the most comfortable beds and bedding! The TV’s in each room were very exciting for the children! The hot tub was lovely, and very much welcome! The house had a large drive way too. The mountain bike and walking trails at Afan Forest were lovely, we enjoyed exploring Swansea and Cardiff too. The Miners Museum was very interesting too!

There was much we didn’t like to be honest, if I had to think of things- the road behind is quite busy so there is some road noise. We thought it would be helpful to have a small instruction book/note for things like the dishwasher/heating/hot tub. It wasn’t a problem for us as we were just 5 but there’s beds for more but not much crockery and cutlery so if you had more than 5 you might be tricky.

Spacious property near beach

The property was imculate with ample parking, clean and tidy. Host was prompt in communication and made us feel welcomed. Near to beach and lidl / morrisons / subway.

Could have provided dishwasher tablets and washing machine liquid. Additional towels would help.

Loved this beautiful house. Was with family for daughters 30th. We all had a great time. Spacious garden so kids loved it. Host is very responsive. House decorated to high standard and beds were comfy too. Would def stay again

Like a home away from home.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable house. Steel town lodge had everything we needed for our holiday and felt like a home away from home. The house was big enough for us all to have some space, with plenty of areas to sit and chill, or play darts, watch tele etc. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. We loved the decor of the living room. Location was really convenient and only 18 mins walk down to the beach - we really recommend walking down and getting a coffee at Memos in the morning. Great spot to people watch too. Dion was fantastic and was super helpful when I made a mistake with the dates and he kindly changed them for me. Overall steel town is a great place to stay. Very comfortable, great host and convenient location.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, although we could have done with some more tea towels in the kitchen (there was only one) and in a perfect world having a fan would have been amazing in the heatwave. It's worth noting that the road behind the house is very busy and can be noisy if you sleep with the windows open, however we soon got used to it, but if you're a light sleeper, then bringing ear plugs would be useful.

Overall stay was excellent.

Newly updated and outdoor area was great. Definitely would rent again. Kitchen was well stocked with needed dishes, cutlery and appliances.

Bedrooms were small but served main function. Struggled at first figuring out how to use heating and the stove/oven but once we figured it out then all was great.
