Lynden Cottage - built 1884 in the heart of town

Lynden Cottage is a cosy piece of well-maintained Australian history. It’s clean and quiet and 3 minutes walk from great coffee and the lovely Trentham Hotel. The kitchen is new and very well equipped and there is endless wood for the fireplace. We loved the fireplace and our two dachshunds loved curling up in their beds in front of the fire. Some may call it quirky but will definitely stay again and take our friends next time as there are three bedrooms. It also has excellent internet allowing me to conduct an online training course without any issues. Fantastic.

The cottage is beautiful! It’s cosy, there is plenty of heating and nights were cold but the cottage stayed so warm. Comfy bed, kitchen fabulous. Never seen such a well stocked kitchen of utensils! The back yard is amazing, huge and beautiful. Our dogs loved it. We rebooked for October, we loved it so much. Plus Trentham is a delightful town. A great way to spend our 40th wedding anniversary.

There is something special about Arichonan House. I recently stayed here while directing scenes for my upcoming film, Powder Milk and Ice Cream, and the house itself became a vital part of the story. It is a stunning, character-filled property that manages to be both grand and incredibly comfortable. Everything about the stay was seamless, it's quiet, cozy, and perfectly situated for anyone visiting Trentham.
